We send your passport photo directly to the police authorisation server, where it can be attached to passport and ID card applications, for example. You will receive a photo receipt with a unique photo ID by SMS. Enter the photo ID in your online passport application or take it with you when you go to the licensing service. If you prefer, you can also use a paper photo, but in this case you will not be able to apply online. We take all the rules and requirements into account to ensure that your passport photo is official and accepted by the police. You can use your photo for a variety of purposes, including passport applications, visas, ID cards, law enforcement cards, security cards and gun permits.
